Pets

Having a pet in your home can sometimes be a comfort, a companion and a part of the family.  Before any tenant can get a pet, they must get written permission to keep or look after any pets, animals, birds or livestock in the property.

Certain types of properties are not suitable for keeping pets, animals, birds and livestock.  It is up to us to give permission.  If we give permission, then the animals etc must not cause a nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to any other person.  If they do, then we may ask you to remove them from the property.

For more information, please ask your Housing Officer or refer to your tenancy agreement.
