Aids and adaptations

Each year, we complete a number of adaptations to our homes to ensure our tenants can continue to live independently and safely in their homes.

Major adaptations may include:

  • the removal of an existing bathroom
  • the installation of a wet floor shower room
  • the installation of a stair lift to make first floor accommodation more accessible

Minor adaptations may include:

  • the installation of internal grab rails, hand rails, external ramps and key safes.

If you feel you would benefit from an adaptation to your home, please contact Single Point of Access (SPOA) on 0300 456 1000 or email them on spoa@denbighshire.gov.uk for more information.
