It is important that we arrange for a qualified expert to check any fixed electrical wires in our homes and provide an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). These inspections test the main wiring systems of electrical installations in our homes.
This testing is important as some installations naturally deteriorate with age, and this can lead to serious hazards. Deterioration is due to things such as accidental damage, unauthorised alteration, wear and tear, natural corrosion, overuse, and even the impact of environmental influences.
